Primary care, expanded.
An expanded program of preventive medicine, built into the established Mesa practice of David Shockey, M.D. One physician, one office, and a yearly evaluation that goes far beyond the standard physical.
The usual arrangement stopped working.
Appointments booked months out, time in the waiting room, and a visit that ends before you have finished your list. Unsatisfying at every step, for the patient and for the doctor.
Dr. Shockey’s practice is deliberately kept small, with appointments typically available the same or next business day, extended visit times, and after-hours physician availability.
The Program adds the expanded annual preventive evaluation described below.
Both operate at Brown Road Family Medicine. Dr. Shockey is the primary care physician for members of the program, not an additional layer on top of one — same office, same staff, same medical record.

A practice small enough to know you.
A physician carrying a small panel works differently from one carrying several thousand patients. Day to day, that is what members notice most.

- Typically same or next business day appointments
- Extended visit times
- After-hours access to your physician
- Continuity with one doctor who knows your history
